- 1 pound extra large shrimp, cleaned and veined (approx. 30)
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 12 oz of your favorite beer
- CanCooker Creole Seasoning
- Chopped parsley
Spray the inside of the CanCooker with non-stick cooking spray. Add beer, butter, garlic, salt, pepper and mix together. Close and latch lid. Place on a low to medium heat.
While waiting for the CanCooker to come to a steam, put the shrimp in a bowl and sprinkle with CanCooker Creole Seasoning. Once the CanCooker is begins to steam, carefully remove lid and add the shrimp. Close lid and latch. Steam approximately 4 minutes. Place shrimp in a serving bowl and garnish with freshly squeezed lemon and parsley.
This is a quick and easy meat. Served with rice from my rice cooker it's a family favorite.
