- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts, quartered
- 1 large onion, coarsely chopped
- 4 tbsp Hungarian paprika
- 2 cups water
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 tbsp all purpose flour
- Salt & pepper to taste
Spray the inside of the CanCooker with non-stick cooking spray. Pour in the water, add the paprika and mix well. Add the onion and chicken.
Latch lid and put on a medium / low heat. Cook for 30 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes.
Carefully transfer chicken to a cutting board with a slotted spoon. Shread chicken into large pieces.
Return the CanCooker to a medium / low heat and add sour cream and flour. Mix well for 2 minutes. Add the chicken and mix.
Served with dumplings, biscuits or over noodles.
Note: You can increase or decrease the amount of ingredients in this recipe but please make sure to use at least 12 oz. of liquid.
