Garlic & Lemon Shrimp, Asparagus and New Potatoes

  • 1-pound large shrimp (16-18 count) – thawed, peeled and deveined with tail on
  • 2 Lemons – one juiced and one thinly sliced
  • 1-pound asparagus – trimmed
  • 2 pounds new potatoes
  • 1 tbsp CanCooker Butter Garlic Seasoning
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 16 oz. water


Place the shrimp in a large mixing bowl and drizzle with 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. Add in garlic and crushed red pepper flakes. Stir to coat and set aside.

In any CanCooker place the two- piece rack into the bottom and add 16 ounces of water and the juice of one lemon. Layer the potatoes on the rack; cover and steam for 15 minutes on a low to medium heat. After 15 minutes remove the lid and layer the asparagus and lemon on top of the potatoes. Replace the lid and continue steaming for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes remove the lid and add shrimp. Replace lid and steam for an additional five minutes. Remove from heat and sprinkle with the CanCooker Butter Garlic Seasoning. Serve and Enjoy
