Holiday Herb Stuffing

  • 8 oz ground sausage
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 cup yellow onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup dried cherries
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 tbsp rosemary
  • 1 tbsp thyme
  • 2 sage leaves, chopped
  • 4 cups chicken stock
  • 8 cups bread, cubed


Using a non-stick CanCooker JR or Companion, place on your Multi-Fuel Burner, stove or other heat source using medium low heat. Cook sausage. When sausage is done add celery, onion, cherries, pecans, rosemary, thyme and sage cook until aromatic, just a minute or two.

Turn off heat. Add bread and slowly mix in chicken stock while stirring, 1 cup at a time. After adding 2 cups of chicken stock add the amount required to reach desired consistency.

Serve immediately. Enjoy!
