- 1 lb dried Pinto Beans
- 1 can Original Rotel Tomatoes
- 1 medium Onion ( chopped )
- 1 1/2 tsp. Salt 3 strips of bacon ( cut in 1/2″ pieces )
- 1 tsp Chili Powder
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Ground Comino
- 1/2 tsp chopped fresh Cilantro
- 6 cups cold Water
Wash Pinto Beans and soak in cold water overnight. Add all ingredients to CanCooker and bring to a boil over high heat. Put the lid on and reduce heat to simmer. Cook for 90 Minutes, turn off the heat and let stand with lid on for 15 minutes. ENJOY!!!
Note: You can increase or decrease the amount of ingredients in this recipe but please make sure to use at least 12 oz. of liquid.
Spot on. Followed recipe, except for throwing a handful of leftover pulled pork in, couldn't have been better.
