Note: You must use parboiled rice for this recipe.Add oil and butter to the CanCooker. Melt the butter over a medium heat and add the chopped onion, green pepper and celery. Saute for 5 minutes.Add rice and stir for 5 minutes to brown the rice. Add water and pepper. Latch lid and steam on medium low heat for 12 minutes.Remove the CanCooker from heat and carefully remove the lid. Stir in chicken base, latch lid and return to medium low heat. Steam for additional 5 minutes or until the water is absorbed.
