Beer Cheese Fondue

Beer Cheese Fondue

Prep Time - 10 minutes
Cook Time - 20 minutes

  • 1 loaf French Bread
  • 16 ounces Block Pasteurized Cheese Cubed
  • 1 ½ cups Chopped Broccoli Drained
  • ¼ cup Beer
  • 1 jar Diced Pimientos Drained (2 ounces)
  • 1 tsp Ground Mustard

  • Cut bread into 1 inch cubes.  Place bread on baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes in the oven at 350 degrees.
Add the cheese to a non-stick CanCooker Junior or Companion and melt on low heat.
Stir in broccoli, beer, pimientos and mustard.
    Cook, stirring occasionally, until hot.
Pour cheese mixture into ceramic fondue pot over low heat.
To serve, skewer toasted bread pieces and dip into cheese mixture.
You can also serve in a serving dish with the bread not being browned in the oven.  Serve immediately.

  • Great with veggies – I made this recipe and dipped celery, carrots, and broccoli in it. Perfect way to go from healthy to unhealthy right? LOL super good though
