Chicken Paprika Stew

Chicken Paprika Stew

Prep Time - 10 minutes
Cook Time - 30 minutes


  • 4 Skinless, Boneless Chicken Breasts Quartered
  • 1 large Onion Coarsel Chopped
  • 4 tbsp Hungarian Paprika
  • 2 cups Water
  • ½ cup Sour Cream
  • 1 tbsp All Purpose Flour
  • Salt and Pepper To Taste


  • Spray the inside of the CanCooker with non-stick cooking spray. Pour in the water, add the paprika and mix well. Add the onion and chicken. 
    Latch lid and put on a medium / low heat. Cook for 30 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes.
    Carefully transfer chicken to a cutting board with a slotted spoon. Shred chicken into large pieces.
    Return the CanCooker to a medium / low heat and add sour cream and flour. Mix well for 2 minutes. Add the chicken and mix.
    Served with dumplings, biscuits or over noodles. 
    Note: You can increase or decrease the amount of ingredients in this recipe but please make sure to use at least 12 oz. of liquid.
