Root Beer Pulled Pork

  • 3 lb pork butt roast or 2 pork tenderloins
  • 12 oz root beer
  • 18 oz of your favorite BBQ sauce
  • Hamburger buns, split and toasted
  • Coleslaw for garnish


Place roast in CanCooker and pour root beer over the roast. Cover and cook on low for 25 minutes, turning once, or until easily shredded with a fork. Remove roast from CanCooker and discard the liquid. Shred roast and return it to the CanCooker. Pour barbecue sauce over the shredded pork. Cover and cook on low about 30 minutes or until heated through. Serve on tasted buns, topped with coleslaw.
