Spicy Chicken

  • 3-4 boneless chicken breasts (skinless)
  • 16 oz jar medium salsa
  • ½ cup tomato juice
  • 2 cloves garlic - minced
  • 1 medium onion – diced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder


In a non-stick CanCooker Jr. or Companion arrange the chicken breasts on the bottom of the CanCooker. Pour in the salsa and the tomato juice. Add the garlic and onion and sprinkle in the cumin and chili powder. Place on a medium-low heat and steam for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked. Remove chicken breasts from the CanCooker and slice. Remove the remaining sauce from the CanCooker and place over the chicken.
