  • 1/2 lb ground venison
  • 1/2 package taco seasoning
  • 1 head lettuce, separated into large leaves
  • Shredded cheese
  • 1 package rice, precooked
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 cup mushroom
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, diced


In non-stick CanCooker JR or Companion, heat 1 tbsp of coconut oil using medium low heat and brown ground venison. Add taco seasoning, 1/4 cup of water and stir until most of the water has evaporated.

Add rice, coconut oil, mushroom, spinach and tomatoes and heat CanCooker until steaming. Cook for 5-10 minutes.

Serve on lettuce leaves and cover with shredded cheese. 

Soft or hard tortillas can also be used or serve with tortilla chips as a shared dish.

    Mix it up and put it on lettuce, now much easier for a single guy can it get.
