Barbecue Brats and Peppers

  • 1 bottle (12 oz) beer
  • 1 bottle (18 oz) barbecue sauce
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 1 large onion- sliced
  • 1 yellow pepper – sliced
  • 1 orange pepper – sliced
  • 1 jalapeno pepper – thinly sliced and seeds removed
  • 10 Johnsonville Smoked Brats
  • 10 brat or hot dog buns



In any non-stick CanCookeradd beer, barbecue sauce, ketchup, onions and peppers.  Stir ingredients until combined.  Add the Johnsonville brats to the CanCooker and place on a medium low heat.  Place lid on CanCooker and steam for 30 minutes until vegetables are tender and the brats are cooked through.  Removed brats and vegetables from CanCooker and serve on buns
