- 1½ lbs beef, cut into ½ inch thin strips
- 1 onion cut, into small wedges
- 1 carrot cut, into 2” julienne strips
- 2 cloves crushed garlic
- 2 cups broccoli flowerets
- ½ pound sliced mushrooms
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 ¼ cup water
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup corn syrup
- ½ tsp crushed red pepper
In a bowl mix the water and corn starch until smooth, then stir in soy sauce, corn syrup, red pepper and garlic. Spray non-stick cooking spray inside the CanCooker. Add onions, carrots, broccoli, mushrooms and beef and pour in the mixed ingredients. Latched lid and heat on medium/low and cook for 20 minutes. Take the CanCooker off the heat and let cool for a few minutes. Pour into a large bowl and serve over a bed of rice.
Note: You can increase or decrease the amount of ingredients in this recipe but please make sure to use at least 12 oz. of liquid.
