Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

Ingredients
- 3 cups water
- 2 medium apples – chopped
- 1 ½ cups old-fashioned oats

Dash of salt
- ¼ cup brown sugar – packed
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ cup walnut – chopped
- Maple syrup
- Milk

Directions
- Add water to any CanCooker and place on a medium-to-medium low heat source.
- Bring the water to a boil and add apples, oats, and salt.
- Cook and stir for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla.
- Cover with lid and let stand for 2 minutes.
- Sprinkle each serving with walnuts.
- If desired can be served with maple syrup and milk.
