Broccoli Cheese Soup

- In any CanCooker, on a medium-to-medium low heat source, melt the butter. Add onion and carrots and cook until the onion has softened about 3 minutes. Add broccoli, chicken broth and seasonings. Continue to cook until the broccoli is softened about ten minutes.
- Place the flour in a separate small bowl and add in cream a bit at a time stirring until smooth. Whisk in cream mixture into the CanCooker. Continue stirring until thick and creamy, about five minutes. Stir in cheeses until melted and serve immediately.

- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 small onion
- 1 cup carrots
- 3 cups fresh broccoli
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp thyme

- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 1/2 cups half &
- half
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/3 cup parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
