- Mini springform pans – 4 inches
Things You Need
Directions
Spray springform pans with non-stick cooking spray.
Mix the cake according to the instructions on the box, but replace the water with the Coca Cola.
Add batter to the pans approx. 2/3 full.
Place the rack into the CanCooker and add enough water to come to the top of the rack.
Place pans on the rack and steam on a medium-to-medium low heat for 30 minutes or until toothpick in center comes out clean.
Remove the cakes from the CanCooker and repeat with the other two pans.
While cakes are streaming prepare the frosting.
In a large sauce pan, bring butter, cocoa powder, and Coca Cola to a boil, whisking occasionally.
Remove from heat and mix in powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth.
Fold in the pecans.
Pour the icing over the cakes.
The icing will firm up and harden as it cools.
