Flank Steak with Red peppers and Green Beans

With a bit of prep this is an easy dish to prepare and all in one pot! No mess to clean up.

Ingredients

1 tbsp olive oil

12 oz flank or skirt steak, sliced thin against the grain

1 tbsp sesame oil

1 tbsp brown sugar
- ยฝ cup soy sauceย

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 tbsp cornstarch

ยผ cup chicken stock
-
1 tbsp hot sauce
-
1 red pepper seed and sliced into long thin strips

8 oz fresh green beans
- Salt and fresh ground black pepperย

2 green onions, sliced thin

Cooked rice for serving

Directions
Heat the olive oil in any CanCooker on a medium-to-medium low heat source.
Add the steak pieces to the CanCooker and sautรฉ for 5 minutes or until the steak starts to brown.
While steak is cooking whisk together the sesame oil, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, cornstarch, chicken stock and hot sauce. Set aside.
Add peppers and onion to CanCooker and stir all together, cook another 5 minutes
Pour the prepared sauce over the steak and vegetables and continue to cook for another 3-5 minutes or until sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Garnish with sliced green onions and serve over hot rice.
