Cilantro Lime Tilapia

  • 4 Tilapia Filets

  • 1/3 cup all- purpose flour  
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 3 tablespoons minced fresh cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon grated lime zest
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice



In a shallow bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder and garlic.  Dip fillets in flour mixture to coat both sides.

In a non-stick CanCooker, heat oil over medium heat.  Add fillets; cook, uncovered, 3-4 minutes on each side.  Add broth, cilantro, lime zest and lime juice. Reduce heat, simmer, uncovered 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened and fish flakes easily with a fork.
