Eggs in a Basket

  • Large eggs
  • Bread
  • Salted Butter
  • Salt and Pepper




Cut a circle in the middle of a piece of bread.  If you don't have a round cookie cutter, the top of a glass will work.


Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in any non-stick CanCooker over medium heat and place in the slice of bread.  Cook until browned and then flip over the bread.   Add ½ tablespoon of butter to the hole, heat until melted and crack in your egg.  Cook the egg to desired doneness.  Carefully remove and serve warm.
