Green Bean and Mushroom Medley

  • 1/2 pound fresh green beans cut into 1-inch lengths
  • 2 carrots cut into thick strips
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms sliced
  • 1/8 cup butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon CanCooker Butter Garlic Salt


In a non-stick CanCooker add the green beans, carrots, onion, butter, water and seasonings. Latch lid and place on low to low-medium heat for 15 minutes.  Open lid and add fresh mushrooms.  Cook an additional 5 minutes or until all vegetables are tender.
