For use with any CanCooker

Beer Steamed Shrimp

Prep Time - 10 minutes
Cook Time - 4 minutes


  • 1 pound Extra Large Shrimp Cleaned and Veined (approx. 30)
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Pepper
  • 12 ounces Beer Your Choice
  • CanCooker Creole Seasoning


  • Chopped Parsley
  • Lemon


  • Spray the inside of the CanCooker with non-stick cooking spray. Add beer, butter, garlic, salt, pepper and mix together. Close and latch lid. Place on a low to medium heat.
    While waiting for the CanCooker to come to a steam, put the shrimp in a bowl and sprinkle with CanCooker Creole Seasoning.  Once the CanCooker is begins to steam, carefully remove lid and add the shrimp. Close lid and latch. Steam approximately 4 minutes.  Place shrimp in a serving bowl and garnish with freshly squeezed lemon and parsley.

    made this today. no beer taste at all. i had everything but the cancooker seasoning. maybe the shrimp need to cook longer. not impressed.
