Chicken Curry

Prep Time - 10 minutes
Cook Time - 20 minutes


  • 2 pounds Skinless and Boneless Chicken Breasts Cubed
  • 1 medium Onion Sliced Thin
  • 1 Apple Cut into ½" pieces
  • 1 clove Garlic Finely Chopped
  • 1 tbsp Ground Ginger
  • 2 tbsp Curry Powder
  • ¼ cup Raisins
  • 1 cup Coconut Milk
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth


  • Latch lid and put on a low heat. Cook 20 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand for a few minutes.
    Carefully transfer the chicken, with a slotted spoon, into a large serving bowl. Cover to keep warm.  Leave the liquid in the CanCooker.
    Combine 2 tbsp cornstarch with 2 tbsp water and mix until smooth. Return the Cancooker to a medium heat and slowly stir the cornstarch mixture into the sauce. Continue to stir until the sauce comes to a low boil. Let boil for 1 minute and remove from heat. 
    Combine the thickened sauce with the chicken in the large serving bowl. Serve over a bed of rice and enjoy!
    Note: You can increase or decrease the amount of ingredients in this recipe but please make sure to use at least 12 oz. of liquid.


  • Delicious – First time ever making curry always thought it was way more complicated but the CanCooker made it so simple with no issues.
