Holiday Herb Stuffing

Holiday Herb Stuffing

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Ground Sausage
  • 1 cup Celery Diced
  • 1 cup Yellow Onion Diced
  • ½ cup Dried Cranberries
  • ½ cup Pecans Chopped
  • 1 tbsp Rosemary
  • 1 tbsp Thyme
  • 2 Sage Leaves Chopped
  • 4 cups Chicken Stock
  • 8 cups Bread Cubed

Directions

  • Using a non-stick CanCooker JR or Companion, place on your Multi-Fuel Burner, stove or other heat source using medium low heat. Cook sausage. When sausage is done add celery, onion, cherries, pecans, rosemary, thyme and sage cook until aromatic, just a minute or two.
    Turn off heat. Add bread and slowly mix in chicken stock while stirring, 1 cup at a time. After adding 2 cups of chicken stock add the amount required to reach desired consistency.
    Serve immediately. Enjoy!
