For use with any CanCooker

Ingredients
- 12 ounce Bacon
- 1 ½ cups Chopped Onion
- 6 cups Chicken Broth
- 4 pounds Baking Potatoes Peeled and Cubed
- ⅔ cup Butter
- ¾ cup All-Purpose Flour
- 4 cups Milk
- 2 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Freshly Ground Pepper
- 2 cup Diced Cooking Ham
- 8 ounces Sour Cream
- 2 ½ cups Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- ¾ cup Sliced Green Onions
Directions
- In a 12 inch skillet, cook bacon over medium heat 6 - 7 minutes or until crisp, drain on paper towels. Crumble bacon; set aside. Add the chicken broth, potatoes and onion to the CanCooker. Latch lid and let simmer for 10 minutes on medium/low heat. Remove from heat and mix in butter, flour, milk, salt, pepper, ham and sour cream. Latch lid and return to medium/low heat. Simmer for an additional 10 minutes.Remove from heat and add cheddar cheese, bacon and green onions.Garnish with additional cheddar cheese, bacon and green onions, if desired.
