St. Patrick’s Day Cabbage

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 4-6 slices bacon, cut into ½ inch strips
  • 1 medium onion – diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 head green cabbage – cored and quartered
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper



In any non-stick CanCooker add butter, bacon, onion, garlic and cabbage.  Cover and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes stirring occasionally.  Add Worcestershire, salt and pepper.  Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes or until cabbage is tender.

    The bacon adds a nice flavor - even my kids enjoyed the cabbage.
