- Add 4 cups of water to any non-stick CanCooker and place on medium heat until steaming, slowly add orzo pasta to the CanCooker. Cook on medium heat for 10-15 minutes until pasta is fully cooked, or desired tenderness. The orzo should absorb all the liquid. If any liquid remains, drain with the CanCooker strainer lid.
- Stir in butter, cream and season with salt and pepper. Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Add Parmesan cheese and pesto and cook 5 minutes until thickened. Sprinkle with parsley.
