Description
The Original CanCooker is the 4-gallon portable steam cooker that started it all. This steam pot stands 14 inches tall and 10 inches across, holds up to 4 gallons of food and feeds up to 20 people, with a complete meal ready in under an hour. Add at least 12 oz of any liquid (water, broth, beer, soda or juice), latch the lid and set it on any heat source: a kitchen stovetop, grill, camp stove or campfire.
Seth McGinn's grandfather cooked for cattle brandings in old cream cans. The CanCooker Original turns that idea into a sealed steam pot that cooks meat, seafood, potatoes and vegetables together with natural steam convection, so everything comes out tender and keeps its moisture, flavor and color. Load it, bring it to a steam on low to medium heat and let the steam do the work.

Built tough for real outdoor use:
- Heavy-duty 1060-grade aluminum with a ceramic anodized interior coating, so the aluminum never touches your food
- Riveted handles, safety clamps and a vented lid: it steams, it does not build pressure
- 4-gallon capacity feeds up to 20 when full; fill it 1/4, 1/2 or 3/4 full for smaller meals
- Uses 12 to 36 oz of liquid
- Works on a stovetop, grill, camp stove, campfire or Seth McGinn's Multi-Fuel Cooktop. Not for induction; turkey fryer and fish burners are not recommended
- Cleans up with soap and water, or add an inch of water and steam it clean (not dishwasher safe)
