CanCooker Bread Pudding

Bread Pudding

Prep Time - 10 minutes
Cook Time - 30 minutes


  • 8 cups Day Old French Bread Cut into 1-inch cubes
  • ½ cup Raisins If desired
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ¼ cup Butter Melted
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • ½ tsp Vanilla
  • ¼ tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • tsp Salt
  • Whipped Cream If desired


  • Spray inside of CanCooker with non-stick cooking spray. Place bread and raisins in CanCooker. 
    In medium bowl, beat milk, eggs, sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg and salt with a whisk. Pour mixture over bread and raisins in the CanCooker. Toss to evenly coat. Let stand for 5 minutes.
    Toss again to make sure the bread is evenly coated.  Cover and cook on low heat  for 12 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving. 


  • Fantastic Recipe – We made the bread pudding while camping and it turned out fantastic – great flavor

  • Bread pudding – This is an excellent, easy and very tasty dish. Because we live at high altitude; cook time was 20 minutes instead of 12.
