Maple Mustard Meatballs

Ingredients

Meatballs

  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 lb. ground pork
  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg slightly beaten
  • 1 tsp CanCooker All Purpose Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 small onion diced

Sauce

  • 2/3 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup yellow mustard
  • 2 Tbsp ketchup
  • 1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Directions

  • Combine ground pork, ground beef, oats, milk, egg, CanCooker All Purpose Seasoning, garlic powder, black pepper and onion. Shape into meatballs about 1 ½” in diameter.  To any CanCooker heat 2 Tbsp of olive oil and add meatballs.  Cook on a medium-to-medium low heat and brown for 10 minutes.
  • Combine the maple syrup, mustard, ketchup, hot pepper, and salt in a medium bowl. Pour sauce over the meatballs and continue to simmer for an additional 15 – 20 minutes.
